Thought I would drop in...

And say Hi folks.

Not been around for a while, but still have an attachment to Pentax/Ricoh. The GRIII is turning out to be every bit plus a bit more what the original GR was. Biggest difference is the stabilisation... in the right circumstances, it's worth 3 stops. I can shoot down to 1/10 sec handheld at night with no issues at all...1/5 in the right circumstances.

All the GR images at ISO 3200, f2.8 using the infinity focus function.

This one at 1/10

A bit more conventional, 1/40, but just after take off.

This one was taken with the the A7s, but using a PK fit Vivitar 28mm f2.0 (Kiron version), which is my favourite lens for in-flight night photography on both my Sony cameras. It's 2 exposures, taken a few minutes apart. I took the star shot a few minutes before passing over Athens , to avoid the glare; the heading was constant, so the Milky Way is in the right place. I am not sure how, but the camera got the EXIF mixed up with a shot from my standard zoom...obviously it's not 1/800 at f8. Even Sony haven't got that far yet :)
