Our Tone seems to have shocked Chelsea but as usual he's making some insightful arguments.

It seems like to know the future one has to look in the mirror......

The Future

Interesting comments on the future of Pentax. A mirrorless cam with a k-mount would be great.. Oh wait, the K-01 :) An updated version would be welcome!

I wonder if they've ditched the idea of a successor to the K-3 and are putting resources into a mirrorless jobby instead. it would make sense

Nikon Z no dual Card slot, will Canon be the next to deliver?

I've briefly looked at the Nikon and it's new mount. It looks like Canon will be next, and I wonder if they can find the courage not to make it the size and weight if a brick :D

Looking at quite a lot of reviews it seems like there is some benefit to lenses optimized for mirrorless so unless there's a whole heap of new glass coming.........

That said I think Jon has had great success with his A7Rii and adapter (or one of his Sony's) but some of the benefits aren't just resolution/rendering, things like focus tracking, eye detection etc not as efficient without "designed for" mirrorless.

Midst of a revolution.

The new Nikon mount is enormous, wonder if this might give them an edge over Sony's smaller offering in the future but at the mo the Tonybot describes their mirrorless as like the previous gen of Sony's.
